Read an article on the LA times magazine, saw a photograph and decided to copy it, just to practice watercoloring. It came out alright, although his face had to be fixed in photoshop, and the colors needed tweaking.

Ooh.. Very pretty pic you have there ^^ I really love the effect the trees make to the picture.. They work as beautiful frames :3 And all the colors mix up so well... This one is done very well ^^ congrats, I like this a lot more than your other recent work :heart:

I'm not a member of the site too either, and I was able to access it, being the latest article.

Its about green burials and alternative methods to burying or something like that. Try searching "Los Angeles Times Magazine" and it should be the cover story.
